Inland NorthWest Amateur Boxing Association

Contained in one of 21 geographical regions located throughout the continental United States including Hawaii, Alaska and the military branches. Each region encompasses numerous local boxing committees (LBCs), which are all part of the national USA Boxing Association family. The Inland NorthWest Boxing Association (LBC) currently includes 15 local clubs located west of the Cascade mountains in Washington State, including northern Idaho. Regional location definitions rarely change. However, LBCs may be added or removed from a region and local clubs may be added or removed from an LBC from time to time.

Mission Statement

To promote the sport of amateur boxing in a positive atmosphere. Providing honest, fair competition for all participants in a safe environment, leaving a significant positive impact. Offering a nurturing environment, we strive to teach discipline, a strong work ethic and self-defense. To utilize the best trained officials and coaches for area youths so that they can achieve their ultimate potential in life and sport.

2007 Fee Schedule

Athlete: $37.00 (registration fee September - Dec: $23.50)
Non-Athlete: $50.00 (mandatory background check bi-annually)
Club: $125.00
Sanction: $280.00 (boxing matches)

Fees to join USA Boxing are subject to change. Check with your Registration Chairman for current fee schedule. Registration fees are effective "Jan. 1rst - Dec. 31". Athletes only, registering after August have reduced fee. Fees to join local clubs vary by club. All athletes and non-athletes participating in a sanctioned USA boxing event must be registered with USA Boxing. All persons registered with USA Boxing may not participate in any amateur boxing event not governed by the rules and regulations of USA Boxing. Failure to comply may result in indefinite suspension from USA Boxing. All members registered with USA Boxing are covered by a million-dollar secondary medical insurance policy with a $100 deductible. All clubs registered with USA Boxing have liability coverage under this same 1 million dollar insurance umbrella. USA Boxing is the governing body for all USA National Amateur boxing competitions leading toward the Olympics.
